FACING YOUR FEAR

Fear is a torment

It is an enemy to success and a friend to darkness

It depreciates your potential and increases your fretfulness (anxiety)

It accelerates the death of man and kills the dream of a rising star

It leaves you empty and occupies your mind with doubt

 The ability of every man to succeed is determined by how he is able to conquer his fear

Do we live in fear and allow evil to keep on prevailing

Should we live in fear and allow our adversary to take over what we have sown

Should we live in fear and allow our enemies rule over us

Should we live in fear and watch our land desolated

Should we live in fear and see our children die in hunger

Should we continue in fear and allow our dreams too be disregarded

How can we overcome our fear if we don’t have faith?

How can we overcome our fear when we don’t have confidence in our self?

How can we overcome our fear when we don’t see the need to press on even when we fail?

How can we overcome our fear when we still cover our sin?

How can we overcome our fear when we don’t see the need to love one another?

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)    But why does fear still torment us? Why do we allow fear to kill that conquering spirit we have?

Fear is a battle we have to combat with and the only way we can come out victoriously is by putting on all the armor of God, wearing the breastplate of righteousness, putting on salvation as an helmet, holding the shield of faith,…and taking the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6 vs. 13-17). We have all it takes to conquered our fear but why is fear still a torment to us? 

If you are not faithful you will be fearful… Your fear can be overcome through faith live wisely and don’t allow the devil to use you the way he wishes.

It is your battle no man will assist you in this battle but is the battle only you have to fight to raise the banner of victory.

 Kill the fear in you that limit you of what you can do.

Psalms 33:18

But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

Psalms 34:4

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.

Psalms 34:7

For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

Psalms 115:11

All you who fear the Lord, trust the Lord! He is your helper and your shield.

Psalms 147:11

No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

WHO AM I

Many at times I ask myself this question who I am?

What is my purpose of existence?

Why has he created me?

For what purpose and reason?

Why has he created me and brought me into this planet earth?

Before we were born into the earth he already know us he knows the complexion of our skin, our thought and behavior, he knows our today and future... he knows what is going to become of us. See what he said to Jeremiah "Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee, and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations" (Jer.1 vs. 5). Does Jeremiah knew that he will be a prophet? But he has been living on the planet earth for years. Does he recognize who he was to the world? Did he know that he was born to be a prophet? These questions ponder my mind each time I read the book of Jeremiah.

Let us compare the story line of Peter and Jeremiah, Peter was called by Jesus to become fisher of man but all his life he had no privilege to read or write and lack the confident to stand and face the crowd.  

Peter was a qualify and experience fisher man he knows the entire secret about fishing and he prosper in it, but at that time did he know who he was? Was he fulfilled while been a fisher man? If he was fulfilled why did he hearken to the first call of Jesus?

Some may ask was he fulfilled while he was with Jesus.

Did he know who he was while he was with him?

From the outlook of things Peter find fulfillment and knows who he was while he was with Jesus. He found out that he was not to rear fish but to bring forth soul into the kingdom. His first sermon as a disciple gave him the courage that he was working towards the will of God. When he was able to stand before men and women, young and old, feeble and strong... to proclaim the good news of the lord Jesus and converted thousands of soul to the kingdom.

If God knows us so well, what about me as a personality do I know who I am? Think about this for a while don’t let this thought leave you until you get a positive result of who you are.

Unless a man knows who he is, he can find the right key to unlock his destiny.

LOCATING THE RIGHT KEY

Talent is a special gift given to everyone by the creator, it is a treasure that is more precious, costly and beautiful than any other precious thing anyone can imagine or think about, but it is the most difficult treasure that can be discover. It is the unique ability that is embed in us, but can’t easily been seen or identify because it is more valuable than silver, gold, diamond… 

Every mineral resources are found beneath the earth, it takes skill and experience miners; miners that are never in a haste, always encourage to press forward when ever they encounter challenges in their field of specialization to discover this hidden treasure that can change the story of their life.

Many individual seems to struggle in every aspect of life; all effort they have made in life has been unfruitful all because they are not trading with their talent, but trading with other people talent, the self confidence in most individual has been killed because they are afraid to fail so that they won’t be ridicule by their family, colleague, friends, and sibling. Don’t you know that failure compliment success? Without failing how will you succeed? How will you get more fact and theory if you don’t keep on trying. Know this that every failure brings forth a positive result.

A bunch of key is useless when you can’t find the right key to open your treasure, when you use the wrong key for your box of treasure you will thrash about in opening the door which can lead to the damage of your treasure door. This is what happen to most of us, we use the wrong key to open the treasure of our life and we found ourselves struggling on what we ought not to struggle for, some of us have the right key to our treasure, but we are blind to see the key because our desire and ambition to acquire wealth have now become our priority. We don’t take time to search so that we will discover our full potential as an individual. 

When you are not working towards your purpose you are bound to struggle in that particular field you are, although you are making it but there won’t be joy in your heart because you are not working towards the plan of your creator.

It doesn’t matter the size or the content which the key is been made of, all that matter is using the right key for the right door. Ask from God and he will direct you on what he has design and plan for your life because he is the writer of your script, the architect of your building, and the contractor of  your destiny, if  you can allow him to take charge over your destiny you will see him in action. 

 

A FULFIL LIFE

The oxford dictionary defines fulfillment as “Making someone satisfied or happy through allowing their character or abilities to develop fully”

What does fulfillment actually means to you?

When were you fulfilled in life?

What does it take to be fulfilled?

Am I really working towards my fulfillment?

Many have gone with great dreams buried, many are still on earth having no focus and have loss control of their vision and purpose in life, and many are still searching. It brings joy to the hearing of people that you are fulfilled in life, because fulfillment is an accomplishment to your vision and purpose you have on earth.

The secret behind fulfillment is determination.  The Determination to succeed and be fulfilled in your set goal is the driving force to success. Determination comes with perseverance, hard work, humility and focus. It is every body desire to be fulfilled but when the ingredients you need to spice up you dream is lacking you become chaff. You keep on moving to the wrong direction because you are not focus and that zeal and enthusiasm you need to succeed is lacking in you.

What does perseverance need to do with fulfillment? Perseverance is another key and important point of fulfillment. To be fulfilled is not an easy task, it takes a lot of challenges from right, left and centre, and it is only the brave, wise and courageous one that can attain it.

In what area of life do you need to be  fulfilled? Is it in life, academics, marriage … your time on earth is wasted when it’s not fulfill. Many great men we aspire to be like are men that fulfill there destiny despite the storm, strategy and challenge they face in life.

Don’t kill the potential in you; don’t allow the God given talent he has given you to be wasted, but make sure that you fulfilled the purpose why you are in existence. You are talented, you have been created and God’s have bestowed his talented and gift in your life, it is meant for you to start working towards your dream.

Failure is the driving force to success, it is what bring out the best in you, it bring out the uniqueness in you, it exposed you, it makes you to be versatile in all field, and in all it shows you the way of success. Do those extraordinary things that seem impossible so that you can have a fulfilling destiny.

Work towards your dream, because having great assets and making name on earth is all vanity without a fulfill dream and purpose...
